Abstract
This study investigate the potential value of weblog use on English language learning, students's perceptions of and attitudes towards using Weblogs. Weblog give an opportunity and freedom for self-expression in English, writing skill,critical thinking skill. Weblog can provide learning motivation and opportunities for authorship and readership.
Introduction
There are Three Types of Weblogs are The Tutor Blog,The Learners Blog and .The Class Blog. Weblog have values in English language education for several reasons. Weblogs provide opportunities for real communication. Blog make reading comprehension more, improve students's writing skill, and abilities, provide an exciting and motivating learning environment in reading and writing for learners.
The study
The participants :There are 25 undergraduate female students in English major in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University. Their ages from 22-24 years.
Method : The students enroll in the Reading and Writing for Academic Purposes II course. This course develop reading skill in several of written texts including academic resources and develop thinking skill and writing skill. The students met in class twice a week.
Finding
-weblogs as a medium of self-expression online and a tool of enhance English language development.
-weblogs offered opportunities for writing and reading practice and communicating with other people.
-weblogs enhance writing, reading skill and vocabulary.
Discussion and Conclusion
In conclusion, Weblogs can provide motivate learning environment. Create social interactions between student and instructor. The focus of blog writing was on encourage student self-expression in English.
